A while ago as I was in the process of installing our new Garmin 178C I discovered one of the main wire chases on the boat. When I opened up the main power panel at the nav station I noticed lots of wires that disappeared downward behind the bulkhead. There was also a yellow fish line that went somewhere.

Just guessing I removed the small panel at the base of the step right by the nav station; the one that has a courtesy light mounted on it. Wah lah. It was an easy pull from there because of the fish line left by either the PO or Hunter workers. It seems that just about every AC and DC wire from the panel to the starboard side and engine compartment routes through that area.
