Year built 1989
Location of boat Daytona Beach, FL
The boat is sailed on Open ocean
How the boat is used Day sailing

Liveaboard?
Owner bought the boat in 1996
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Absolutely. This is a delightful boat, with unbelievable room below!
Gear that's been added Dingy, CD player, speakers, GPS, recovered the cushions, stern-perch seats, mast steps.
Structural or complex improvements Mast steps.
The boat's best features The free-standing rig! This translates to1) not having to tune your rigging2) not having to worry about your rigging failing3) No sail chafe on the rigging
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Nothing substantial.
Sailing characterisitcs We typically sail for the day or the weekend in the Atlantic off the coast of Daytona, FL. We've experienced waves from 1 - 7' with no difficulty, and weathered a few storms.
Motoring characterisitcs The 3-cylinder Yanmar vibrates a bit, but is dependable. I installed a packless glad in the stuffing box a year ago and have been extremely pleased with it.
Liveability Very good. The cabin is spacious and airy.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) I give them an A so far. We've ordered several parts from them and found their service to be terrific. Highly recommended.
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any
