Year built 1995
Location of boat Lake Winnieesaukee, NH
The boat is sailed on Lakes
How the boat is used Weekends and longer
Normal wind strength 16-22 knots
Average size of crew 2-4
Liveaboard?
Owner bought the boat in 95
If the clock could be turned back, would owner buy again? Yes, The best boat I've ever owned
Gear that's been added Autohelm depth, speed, wind, ST4000. Maxwell windlass. TV
Structural or complex improvements On this boat everything was complexed. Nothing is as easy to install as it seems.
The boat's best features Openness of the cabins, generous use of teak inside, lack of it outside. Speed, style and grace. Walk through tansom
Problem areas in terms of design, materials, maintenance, etc. Hood LD furler (junk) keeps jaming, bushing breaks, hard to use. sometimes I have to use the winch, in any kind of wind... worst piece of equipment on the boat.Stanshions, poor design for cold wather use water frezes and distorts them (had to replace them and life lines). Motor mount broke What a job to replace..
Sailing characterisitcs Handles great in all but the strong winds.
Motoring characterisitcs Fast boat, dive saver works well to mimize vibriation. Handles well, very pridicable.
Liveability Great. Even in subzero weather the boat stay warm (winter in the lake). Good ventilation during the hot days.
The owner's experience in dealing with Hunter (if any) Pleeasent, very accommodating.
The owner's experience with the boat dealer or broker, if any Seacoast Marine, Newberry Port MA Best there is!! What else can you say.
